Airport Wayfinder®

ATV Lands Airport Wayfinder Contract at Boston Logan International

Santa Barbara, CA, December 20, 2006 - Air Travel Video Technologies, LLC. (ATV) together with its partner, Airports Council International – Geneva (ACI), have secured an agreement to license its Airport Wayfinder® to Boston Logan International Airport.  The Airport Wayfinder is designed to enhance Boston Logan’s excellent airport customer service program and will be making its official debut, 20 December, on Logan’s website, www.massport.com and the ACI global website, www.airportwayfinder.com, which is produced specifically for world travelers. Offered in both English and Spanish, travelers will be able to navigate Boston Logan International Airport from anywhere, using broadband web technologies.

Connect With Your Airport Before You Fly’
The Airport Wayfinder offers travelers a complete and immersive 3D-web tour to enhance their travel experience. Using the latest internet streaming technologies, the Airport Wayfinder provides travelers with a new way to obtain airport information before they fly, giving travelers captivating 3D perspectives of airport overviews and locations of everything from passenger arrival and departure procedures, inter-terminal connection processes, to a variety of passenger services.

By calling up Airport Wayfinder online, travelers can access needed airport information from their home or office or at the airport. Future plans include adding a Shops & Dining area online, to promote Boston Logan’s airport concessions.

A key to the interest in Airport Wayfinder at Logan is its potential to attract advertising revenue both from on-airport concessions and services, as well as local Boston establishments, and cultural and sporting events.

Nancy Grimes, ATV president, said, “Adding Boston Logan to our portfolio of more than 60 international airports and airlines served by Airport Wayfinder is very gratifying, and reinforces our belief that travelers really benefit from our unique airport information service.”

Boston Logan International Airport’s acting director of aviation, Edward Freni said, “Airport Wayfinder will be a valuable addition to Logan’s customer service program. Travelers are very busy, and often constrained by time,” he said. “The Airport Wayfinder bilingual service will make their arrivals and departures more efficient, friendly and less stressful. We are also considering adding it as a video program to the bus lines that bring travelers to Logan from downtown Boston and the outlying regions.”

In 2005, Boston Logan International ranked 20th in the nation in passenger volume and 19th in flight movements based on ACI’s annual survey of the world’s top 50 airports.

Logan served 27,087,900 passengers, handled 409,066 flights and facilitated the movement of 742 million pounds of cargo in 2005. Logan employs about 12,000 workers and stimulates the New England regional economy by approximately $7 billion per year.
